AALC Vintage Sketch Journal by Pyek AALC Vintage Sketch Journal by Pyek
:iconaalc:

Journal skin for the RP/art group #AALC
Not for installation since it's for AALC use only.

I aimed to make it quite a bit simpler than the past journals because they were really just too much and I wanted it to suit any changing graphics we will be using for upcoming events.

I see you are excellent at making journals for groups and other people, I was wondering if you could make a journal for our upcoming group #RedWingAcademy, would that be alright? We would credit you at the top of the journal, which would give opportunities for more watchers. So would you be able to do it for us?

Thank you very much!
I would certainly be happy to make a journal for your group. I'll be very busy for the next 2 weeks because I'm prepping for CTcon. Do you have an opening date that puts a sooner deadline on this? That's not to say I wouldn't be able to get it done within the next 2 weeks, but I don't want to make any promises there may be a chance I'm not be able to keep. :'D
If that time line works for you and your group, I'd say go ahead and note me what sort of journal and features you would be looking for. If you have an image in mind of what it ought to look like, a quick sketch would be helpful, or links to any images/graphics you have already that you want incorporated. c:

Okay thank you, you said sooner? within the next two weeks or so would be ideal because we have people waiting for the application, but I can use a temporary journal until this one is made, ill send you a note with links and I will make a quick sketch for you of what I had in mind. Thank you so much. I will give you the note later this evening.

sorry, I meant after the next 2 weeks. I can only maybe get it done before then. I will be busy focusing on my booth at Ctcon and may not be able to complete other projects until after the 15h.

Okay after is fine as well, I will use a temporary journal skin until you get that one finished, so a few days after the 15th will be alright.

Could I possibly steal the code for any written school pieces? I'd like to theme my AALC stuff appropriately. :) I'm working on a char sheet now, but the writing might happen any time, once I've gotten her personality figured out.

I'm not sure how this code will help since it's for journals. Do you mean for journals then, or literature deviations?

If for group-related deviations, you're welcome to use the school coat of arms as a preview image or whatever, so long as you give credit to #AALC and =habren
You can find that here: [link]

If you mean for journals, than I'm afraid not. This skin is just for the group page.

With the sta.sh Writer, any journal skin can now be used on literature deviations. I can take a look at the school coat of arms and see if I can work with that if that's what you'd rather. But I did mean literature deviations, I intend to write up some background and probably a "journey to school" type thing.

Ah I see. ^^ While I do understand, I would prefer this skin be used for AALC blog entries only to keep them uniform and recognizable. Do use the coat of arms if you would like to though. c:
