There is a large cardboard box in the storage room in my basement and some nights ago I decided to go through it. This thing was a treasure trove--! of perfectly terrible artwork from as far back as 1994. Most of the dates and sketchbooks inside though seemed to be from 2000-2005. Instead of shoving them back inside as the box as I ought to have done, I scanned them to share with all of you! Then the next day I found another pile of old artsstuff from 2006 hiding in the back of a closet that probably hasn't been opened since they first went in there.

You know that fuzzy nostalgic feeling you get when you happen across an old picture of perhaps a long lost loved relation or friend? I got that feeling when I was going through these old sketchbooks, and I even went and dug out the oldest music I still have on some old MP3 player that felt like those years to me (all of you who live more in your Fiction-world than the Real-world know exactly what I'm talking about. You know who you are.)

And so on to the point of this journal--

I challenge anyone who reads this to go and dig out whatever they still have of their old art. Pile it into a scanner and shove it all onto a canvas and post it!

Don't be embarrassed of your old art! Show it off so you and everyone else can see how much you've improved. I know there exist memes for this and you can do it that way if you prefer. Who knows! Maybe you'll be inspired to revive some old forgotten OC.
